I have had my share of rejection in this life, you have probably had yours.
If you have never had the experience, I am sincerely glad for you.
We have been embarrassed, humiliated and faulted. Someone might have disapproved of you or you failed at something.
Maybe yours is a heartbreak, a cheating spouse or a messy heartbreak.
It could be from a stranger, teacher, friend, loved one or family member.
For some, these rejections aren’t a small thing. It is a big deal.
For some, piles of rejection over the years has caused deep wounds in their hearts and personality such that they are now scared to look at themselves in the mirror.
Some can’t even remember how it started but they still have to deal with it’s effects.
Though rejection can be subtle, it always has ripple effect.
A person who has a pile of rejection can easily interprets anything as rejection – a comment on dressing, a joke, a look – anything at all.
The same thing someone else won’t have an issue with can be an issue for someone that is dealing with rejection issues.
Sometimes, you aren’t even being rejected but you feel you are, the effect is same.
Rejection brings about the worst in people.
Innocent killing has happened because a student felt rejected by the school, people (male and female) have had to deal with bullying and assault because they said no to a proposal. All sort of things has stemmed from the feeling of rejection.
If you feel rejected, it may true. The world might reject you, but be sure SOMEONE doesn’t.
“I have chosen you and not cast you away” God says.
God has chosen you over and over again.
His love for you is everlasting (Jeremiah 31:3) and it wasn’t just lip service. He actually proved it.
But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us. Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ’s blood, how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God.
Romans 5:8-9 AMPC
He said it, did it and sealed it.
Now, NOTHING can separate you from this acceptance and love.
For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers, Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39 AMPC
The question is will you accept this love?
Will you allow yourself be loved and accepted?
